Michael finished 85% of the bathroom. No bathroom photos will be posted until April 4th- it's one of the highlights..... so you will have to wait!

Let me know what you think of the color : P

Week 5

I haven't forgotten to post. Just been busy, tired, and busy : )))) Our weekends are jammed packed with work, picking up supplies at Home Depot, and exploring Cbus with our new and old friends. This weekend we went to our first Gallery Hop. Loved it and can't wait to go to many more.

Here's what's been done in the last week:

Kitchen cabinets were stained and polyurthaned by yours truly. It was LABOR. Luckily my body is still young enougth to tolerate stooping and bending over for hours. They turned out nice. I also painted the bathroom vanity.

We found a message on the wall from the year 1888!!!!! I was looking the entire time for something from the past. It says something like John.... for ..... on April 4/88. Dummy me thought it might have been from 1988. Michael pointed out the cursive writing. No one writes their A's like that...

Michael cut down the pine. This is my favorite part. That pine tree covered the entire left side of the house. Now we have a view.

Before

After

The bathroom was mudded, primed, and the toilet was installed.

The kitchen

By the way, the huge house across the street is a private bed and breakfast. I can't wait to see the inside someday.

We are on schedule to have a viewing on April 4th. Mark your calendars.
